All programs include assessment of physical, emotional, cognitive, social and financial needs and recommendations to assist in achieving the highest quality of life possible during illness, recovery from injury or challenges to independence. At all times you and your loved ones remain in charge while working with a respectful and compassionate advocate. All programs are individualized to meet your needs, reduce your stress and improve your comfort. Whenever possible, the advocate recommends or uses low cost or free services when appropriate. CONSULTATIONS

Single meeting or very short term advocacy including:

  • Advocacy Consultations are for those in need of recommendations about how to get the absolute best care during a time of need. This program is ideal for those who have the ability or support to follow through on their own using the advocates¬†specific and written recommendations.
  • Wellness Consultations are for those who want to improve and maintain health. Our advocate can help you identify your wellness goals and barriers and assist you to develop healthier living options in the areas of nutrition, exercise, weight management, mild medical condition management, general health, supplements and vitamins, stress reduction and more based on sound medical information.

AUTO ACCIDENT INJURY ADVOCACY

  • Generally long term, active,¬† on-site advocacy
  • No cost to clients who qualify
  • You have the right to choose and hire all providers as well as your case manager

HEALTHCARE ADVOCACY

  • Guided Advocacy includes a complete consultation as well as ongoing guidance during a time of need. The advocate provides in-person, telephonic and/or email assistance as needed and requested by the client or loved ones. This program is ideal for those who need support obtaining services and understanding and following through on their treatment plan and includes recommendations for free or low cost options.
  • Transitions Advocacy assists those who need help moving from dependent living situations to more independent ones or the opposite. It is ideal whether a person needs more help or less help and is focused on promoting independence, safety and quality of life. Clients may be elderly or temporarily or permanently disabled. This service is also excellent for people facing life shortening or terminal illnesses to make choices for their remaining days.

BILLING ADVOCACY

  • Investigates possible medical billing discrepancies and errors through resolution.
  • Explains billing invoices.
  • Researches and explains your insurance coverage.
  • Refers to patient assistance programs and community services such as Medicaid.
